Most democracies last only 200+ years
"Hillary America's First Dictator." My research in preparation for writing the book led me to believe that most democracies last only 200+ years.
Also, most countries that were Democracies became totalitarian after a legal election. Those countries include Lebanon (recently Syrian totalitarian), Italy (Mussolini), Russia (Stalin - although Russia was always somewhat totalitarian), and the most infamous of all (Germany, twice), there also have been many smaller countries that have become totalitarian such as Cuba, several African and smaller European countries.
That could never happen in the U.S.
I have heard many people say: "That could never happen in the U.S." I even had one lady say to me (after me telling her the title of my book) "I'd vote for her!" That after being told it was possible for Hillary to become a dictator. THAT is precisely what scares me the most - complete apathy and the lack of knowledge about the people we elect. Most elections are won on charisma or because the candidate is smooth or handsome. Bill Clinton is an excellent example. If most people had investigated him in the detail, which I did before voting, he never would have been elected. Both he and his wife Hilary Rodham were members of the 60s revolution. That is not a good background to begin with.
The 'soft' dictatorship
The attacks on the Constitution, deterioration of the rule of law, ethics, morals and most of all common sense not only within the country's masses but in the elected officials has been slowly but surely marching us toward a 'soft' dictatorship. The 'boiling frog' theory is slowly boiling the country to death. The boiling frog theory is as follows: A frog is placed in a pan of water. The pan is placed upon a stove burner and the heat is turned on. The frog is soon feeling very warm and comfortable. As the water gets hotter and hotter the frog does not notice because it is so gradual. Eventually he boils to death when he could have jumped out of the pan at any time.
The boiling frog theory
If you notice carefully, you will see the boiling frog theory correlation to what has been happening to the very core values of the country such as the absolutely ridiculous decisions being made by judges, the obscenity on TV, in the movies, in magazines and in verbal communication, and the attacks on the Judea-Christian values this country was founded upon. Add to that the atrocious changes which have occurred because one person was 'offended.' I get offended every day by many things but I don't go to the Supreme Court to solve my problem. Major changes for the worse have taken place because one person out of millions squeaked about something. As usual the rabid liberal approach throws all common sense to the winds. The important part of the boiling frog theory is that the people have generally accepted the changes.
Never to touch a child
Several 'child experts' told us never to touch a child because we might hurt their id (whatever that is). They did that because these 'experts' couldn't tell the difference between abuse and punishment. Rather than try to define it they took the normal liberal radical approach which takes all common sense out of the picture (and we, as parents, allowed it to happen and even became activists to support the lack of common sense).
That is just one example of the absolute stupidity of the liberal approach. Fear permeates all of society. Fear causes people to do strange things and you see it every day, especially on the roads, in dealing with children, and in judge's decisions.
